Deer Valley East Village Restaurants, Retail & Resort Development
Deer Valley East Village is quickly transforming the Jordanelle side of Deer Valley into a new luxury resort destination. What was once primarily an access point to the mountain is becoming a vibrant village with ski-in/ski-out residences, luxury hotels, restaurants, retail, skier services, and year-round amenities.
At full buildout, East Village is planned to include 32 restaurants and cafés, 42 retail shops, and approximately 250,000 square feet of retail and commercial space. Combined with Deer Valley’s expanded 4,500 acres of ski terrain, East Village is being designed as much more than a new ski base.
The vision is for a true resort village where visitors and residents can ski, dine, shop, relax, and gather—all within a walkable community. And because many of these amenities will operate throughout the year, East Village is expected to become a four-season destination.
Grand Hyatt Deer Valley
Grand Hyatt Deer Valley is now open and serves as one of the anchors of East Village. The resort features 381 hotel rooms and 55 private residences, along with restaurants and lounges, a spa, pool, and approximately 30,000 square feet of meeting and event space.
Its location provides convenient access to Deer Valley’s expanded ski terrain and the growing collection of amenities at the East Village base.
Four Seasons Resort & Private Residences Deer Valley
Four Seasons Resort & Private Residences Deer Valley is currently under construction and will bring another world-class luxury resort to East Village.
Plans call for 134 hotel rooms and 123 private residences, along with ski-in/ski-out access, restaurants, wellness facilities, and other high-end resort amenities.
The resort is currently anticipated to open in 2028.
Cormont at Deer Valley
Cormont at Deer Valley is one of the largest residential developments underway in East Village, with approximately 372 residences across five buildings.
The project is planned to feature furnished ski-in/ski-out residences, dining, retail, and additional amenities. Its central location will put residents within easy reach of the mountain, restaurants, shops, and services that are being developed throughout the village.
Marcella Landing
Marcella Landing is another collection of luxury residences taking shape within East Village.
The community is designed to provide a more private residential setting while still offering convenient access to Deer Valley’s expanded ski terrain and the growing amenities of the village.
As East Village develops, Marcella Landing will benefit from its proximity to the restaurants, retail, and services planned throughout the area.
Waldorf Astoria Deer Valley
Waldorf Astoria Deer Valley Resort & Residences is another significant luxury development underway in East Village.
The ski-in/ski-out project is planned to include 132 hotel rooms and 105 branded residences, located near Deer Valley’s expanded Green Monster terrain.
The resort is currently anticipated to open in 2028.
Deer Valley East Village Lodge
The permanent Deer Valley East Village Lodge will become an important hub for skier services and guest activities at the new base area.
The approximately 88,000-square-foot facility is planned to include ski school, rentals, retail, dining, lockers, guest services, and a medical clinic.
Once complete, the lodge will bring many of Deer Valley’s essential base-area services together while creating another gathering place within the village.
The Future of Deer Valley East Village
East Village is still taking shape, but the vision is becoming easier to see.
The combination of Deer Valley’s dramatically expanded ski terrain, new luxury resorts and residences, 32 restaurants and cafés, 42 retail shops, and approximately 250,000 square feet of commercial space will create a very different East Village over the next several years.
